Chapter 297 Understanding and Madness
by 七重地狱九重殿Wei'er was not surprised to hear of Shaoke's advancement, because it had taken her a long time to advance as well and there was nothing worth celebrating. "My mother is resting in her room. You cannot go there now," she said, standing in front of him to block his way. "My mother is taking a bath, and you look terrible right now. I think you should tidy yourself up." With that, Lan Wei'er took out a small, delicate mirror from her bosom, held it up for Shaoke to see, and then quickly put it away again.
After touching his nearly matted hair and stubble, Shaoke shook his head and returned to his own room. Little Lan Wei'er rubbed her head forcefully, then took out a white handkerchief to wipe it, before heading toward Mage Roman's room. She needed to tell her mother about this, though her reluctance would not change the matter.
Back in his room, Shaoke went to the bathing area, removed his clothes, and lay down in the large bath. He filled it with water and began to clean himself. He repeated this three or four times until the water became clear. Just as he was about to put on his clothes, the door suddenly opened, and the three female spellcasters entered his room. Shaoke felt embarrassed to be without clothes, and the White-robed Cleric was even more so, as she had never been so close to him before.
"You should rest properly," said Mage Roman, who had been greatly worried but now looked very happy after learning of Shaoke's advancement. She pushed him firmly into the bath and filled it with hot water, while Mage Yisier added some powdered medicine to the water to nourish his body. After a brief moment of awkwardness, the White-robed Cleric chanted a spell and released a golden light, which quickly merged into Shaoke's body, bringing him an extremely pleasant sensation. Shaoke felt his weak muscles rapidly recovering, and his mind also became much clearer.
"Have you become a Sixth-Rank Cleric?" Shaoke asked uncertainly, taking the cleric's small hand. According to the books, only the spells of Sixth-Rank clerics could quickly restore a mage's atrophied muscles and poor physical condition, and the White-robed Cleric's spell had just shown that.
"Yes," the cleric replied, trying to pull her hand away, but he was too strong, causing pain to her delicate body. "You're hurting me," she whispered, frowning. Hearing this, Mage Roman expressed dissatisfaction and made Shaoke let go. His behavior made her feel a little aggrieved—she had worried for over two years about whether he would advance, and yet he was paying attention to the cleric instead... Mage Roman shook her head slightly. Still, she understood how important a Sixth-Rank cleric was to a mage team, especially given their ability to repair meditation spaces and quickly restore physical conditions. With that thought, she said nothing more, but held Shaoke's head against her chest and silently massaged him.
Shaoke awkwardly released the White-robed Cleric, and then noticed that Mage Yisier's hand, which had been adding medicine in the water, had moved improperly between his legs. The White-robed Cleric saw this, blushed deeply, gave a simple bow to the three, and quickly left the room.
With a slight mental fluctuation from Mage Roman, the stone door closed silently. She then removed her clothes and entered the large bath as well. Mage Yisier did the same, but upon entering, she submerged her head underwater and immediately took hold of certain parts of Shaoke's body.
Shaoke squeezed firmly, causing Mage Roman some pain, but she couldn't bear to refuse his slightly rough actions, as she had grown accustomed to them.
The three of them spent only a short time in intimacy, but fortunately both female mages were satisfied, sparing Shaoke from further exhaustion.
"I'll have the cleric give you treatment every day from now on," said Mage Roman, hugging him from behind while her small hand roamed over the chest of Mage Yisier, who was moaning as she leaned forward. Shaoke's hand moved quickly around Mage Yisier's lower abdomen until she let out a sharp spasm and moan, after which they both stopped. Mage Yisier, exhausted, knelt and lay over Shaoke, allowing the two to rub or lightly slap her.
After slapping Mage Yisier's buttocks firmly a few times, Shaoke gently kneaded them, and she responded with contented moans. "Hmm, I think I'll be back to normal in half a year," he said, looking at his thin body caused by overexertion of energy.
The mages then conversed at length, including the current…
The situation regarding Shaoke's organization and its development, and of course, more importantly, the improvements to the large laboratory's energy structure.
It turned out that since Shaoke began his promotion, there had been no significant changes in the Fallen Imperial Capital. After the chaos that followed the initial distribution of the territories previously controlled by the Naxi Family, everything returned to normal. In the areas controlled by the Blue Feather Empire, since no organizations levied high taxes or engaged in rampant killings, most merchants preferred to gather there for trade. Moreover, with various professionals maintaining order and certifying trade agreements on the streets, merchants found the environment much better than elsewhere.
Although other empires or alliances tried to implement similar changes, some organizations obstructed them, and the Eighth-order beings did not intervene in such matters. Thus, they maintained their previous state without making any changes.
During these two years, Shaoke's organization did not expand significantly, but the magical materials exchanged by the Wandering Mages increased considerably. According to Mage Yisier's observations, these mages had formed small groups, robbing merchants from other empires in groups. Some even organized to seize important resources from various empires, like crystal mines and gem mines from low-ranking nobles and merchants.
However, Shaoke did not pay much attention to these matters; he was only concerned with the growth rate of magical materials, which would make it easier to stockpile resources for the future construction of his mage tower.
As for the restructuring of the energy supply in the large laboratory, Mage Roman, following Shaoke's instructions, selected about thirty researchers from among the Sixth Tier Mages and some higher-level Wandering Mages. These mages were very interested in studying magical array structures, and the opportunity to research the energy supply structure of a large laboratory excited them greatly.
According to Mage Roman, these mages were currently studying medium-sized structures and had made little progress. Hearing this, Shaoke frowned in thought. Mage Roman quietly held him, watching Mage Yisier lying motionless on Shaoke with half-closed eyes.
"Did that Eighth Tier Mage deliver those materials?" Shaoke suddenly broke the silence. He planned to join the research after transcribing some Seventh-level Spells. Although this would waste some time, he didn't mind slowing down his promotion for the sake of his future mage tower.
"He did," Mage Roman said, secretly kicking Mage Yisier to signal a position swap. "They were delivered right after your promotion. Based on my estimate, those materials are enough to build five more stone towers like this one." She then swapped places with the reluctant Mage Yisier, lying on Shaoke and quietly feeling the Male Mage's arousal.
Shaoke envied the wealth of the Eighth Tier Mage, but he quickly dismissed the thought, as it was too unrealistic. According to records from the Death Mage Corps, promotion to the Eighth Tier was extremely difficult. Out of every hundred Seventh Tier Mages, not even one could become an Eighth Tier Mage, even though the Death Mage Corps had the best promotion methods. For promotion from the Sixth Rank to the Seventh Rank, with sufficient potions and advanced methods, only one or two out of ten might fail.
Gently stroking the Female Mage's long hair and neck, Shaoke closed his eyes and fell silent. Mage Yisier took over the explanation from Mage Roman, as the latter was now thrusting her hips on Shaoke, seeking physical pleasure. This kind of pleasure was not something people forgot, no matter how high their status.
Mage Yisier then briefed Shaoke on various trivial matters, finally mentioning that the elemental pool here had begun producing elemental crystals.
This news delighted Shaoke. He hadn't expected the elemental crystals to show up so quickly. In a newly built laboratory, it usually took seven or eight years, or even over a decade, for the elemental pool to produce them. Yet in this stone tower, such precious items had appeared in just over two years—how could he not be excited?
With that thought, Shaoke flipped Mage Roman over, making her lie on top of Mage Yisier, and began a rapid, skillful rhythm. Only after the two female mages, overwhelmed by excitement, tightly embraced and kissed did Shaoke release everything inside Mage Roman, finally calming down.
