In a camp hundreds of kilometers away from the Ruins of the Celestial Gate, a handsome blond youth gently closed a thick history book and turned to his companions.

Beside him were several equally striking young men and women. Anyone familiar with the continent's famous human experts would recognize them as the young Saint Masters who have recently risen to the pinnacle of human martial prowess: Morova, the Knight of the Flame Phoenix; Tan Yueer, the Celestial Knight; Xian Lan, the Tide Knight; Hades, the Death Knight; Xi Luo, the wielder of the Hero Sword; and Carol, the Lunar Knight, who had just recounted the history. Almost all of humanity's top combatants were gathered here.

Their gathering was not without reason. With the elves joining the war, the human world's conflict had become doubly severe. While the Saint Masters' power was astonishing, it could only turn the tide when the ordinary forces were evenly matched. Otherwise, the "White-Haired Demon Lion King" Leimen would have single-handedly conquered the human world long ago, and there would have been no prolonged wars. Now, with humans facing enemies on two fronts and the Yellow Dragon and Tiele Empires in the east unable to fully assist due to distance and politics, the war in the southern and western continents had gradually slipped beyond the control of the Saint Masters.

Fortunately, for some reason, the fearsome Snow Wolf Lord who had been entrenched in the southwest had recently vanished, along with his "Sacred Spirit Knight" Jin Luosha and the "Ice Valkyrie." The two young Sword Saints, along with a super magical beast-level phantom creature, the Flame Phoenix, couldn't change the course of the war but saved many southern allied troops trapped by elemental soul-armored warriors and even ambushed elf mage units several times, forcing the elves to deploy genuine super magical beasts like the Fire Phoenix and powerful elf archmages to block them. Later, the elves even sent the "Star-Hunting Arrow God" Hekler to lead a team of archmages and two Fire Phoenixes to track them, greatly hindering the elves' advance.

However, when the Elf Queen suddenly appeared at the Ruins of the Celestial Gate with over sixty thousand elf mages, the massive spatial magic fluctuations were immediately detected by the southern mage guild, and the news was quickly relayed to all parties.

"Morova, what do you think?" Carol asked his companion, who had been fighting alongside him in the south.

"Perhaps they're looking for something in those ruins," the red-haired, aloof youth speculated. "After all, that land carries too much of the elves' history."

Xian Lan from the Tiele Empire shook his head. "The elves abandoned that land three thousand years ago. If there was anything there, they would have taken it long ago. If they couldn't find it then, how could they find it now? I think the elves are challenging something."

"Challenging? What do you mean?" Carol pressed.

"With sixty thousand elf mages and the Elf Queen there, doesn't that setup remind you of the battle three thousand years ago?"

Hades, the Death Knight, raised an eyebrow. "You mean the battle against the Great Demon King? Are the elves planning to set up the Six-Star Demon-Slaying Array again?"

"Exactly. That was the elves' most tragic and glorious battle. I think the Elf Queen chose to return to the Ruins of the Celestial Gate to relive that glory," Xian Lan affirmed.

"Wait," Xi Luo interjected. "Are you saying the elves plan to set up the Six-Star Demon-Slaying Array there? Who are they targeting? The Forbidden Spell Mages? Are you suggesting the elves are challenging the Forbidden Spell Mages?"

"Yes, that's exactly what I mean."

"But isn't that suicidal? Last time the elves used the Six-Star Demon-Slaying Array, over fifty thousand millennium-old elves died, and even ignoring the array's suicidal nature, the current High Elves' magical army isn't as powerful as it was back then. Without the protection of the Throne of the Nature Goddess, even if they gathered all one hundred thousand elf mages, they might not be able to stand against two Forbidden Spell Mages. If we were to send out all three remaining Forbidden Spell Mages, they'd have no chance. Are the High Elves trying to commit suicide?"
