Chapter 64: Snakes Afraid of Mice

"Fine, fine." Xu Feng didn't feel like arguing with her about this. "Just head on back, kid. I'll find the food."

Arola nodded and walked out of the woods. That mouse had really freaked her out.

Xu Feng sighed and walked deeper into the woods. He got lucky; he found a wild apple tree and then hunted a few small rabbits. For a mage, hunting like this was no challenge at all.

The campfire crackled, the smell wafting through the air. Watching the wild rabbits skewered on branches, roasting until their oil dripped, Arola's mouth watered.

"Young Princess." Xiuer walked back from the stream, the apples already washed clean. She handed one to Arola.

"Thank you." The beautiful girl nodded. "Just Arola is fine, Sister Xiuer."

Xiuer had a gentle personality and a quiet demeanor. Although the two girls hadn't known each other long, Arola had taken quite a liking to her.

Xiuer smiled and walked over, sitting down next to Xu Feng. Seeing the young master busy roasting the rabbits, she held the apple up for him to take a bite.
