### Chapter 33: A Familiar Morning
by### Chapter 33: A Familiar Morning
The divine light in the realm of gods is pure white, some intense, some faint.
This divine light was mostly pure white, blindingly bright, but within the purity, there were faint tinges of red, gold, and gray.
It exuded a subtle sense of extraordinary.
The meditation textbook extensively described the divine light of the realm of gods, but it did not record this particular type of divine light.
This beam of light was very thin, barely wide enough to accommodate one person.
Countless thoughts raced through Suye's mind.
Why wasn't this kind of divine light recorded in the book? Is there something wrong with this divine light? Could there be even better ones...
Suye recalled the knowledge from his textbook and Niedern's lectures, ultimately confirming that even if this beam of divine light was not the best, it was certainly among the best.
"I forgot how long I flew here, and since this place is so vast, I might never see it again. This opportunity cannot be missed."
After much deliberation, Suye resolutely plunged into the light.
"Ah..." Suye suddenly let out an embarrassed sound.
It was an indescribable feeling.
At this moment, Suye even doubted whether he had ascended to become a deity, because the mental pleasure was too intense.
At this moment, Suye even wanted to abandon everything—legendary mages, deities, everything—and just stay in this beam of light as a lazy fish.
Every cell in Suye's body sang, every hair on his body danced.
After an unknown amount of time, Suye felt a slight pain in his body and immediately remembered the description in the book: this was the sign of reaching the limit of absorbing divine light. If he continued, he would be completely assimilated by the divine light, his soul dissolving.
Suye hurriedly endured the extreme pleasure, imagining himself leaving the barrier between realms and returning to Athens City, back to his bedroom.
"Whew..."
Suye exhaled deeply, slowly opened his eyes, and froze in his chair.
"Is this the power of the realm of gods? It's unbelievable... Hmm?"
Suye suddenly turned his head towards the door.
Why is it so bright?
Suye suddenly had a familiar feeling.
Did something similar happen yesterday?
Suye rushed to the door to check the time on his magic book.
The magic book displayed the dynamic image of Plato's Academy and showed the clock above the main hall.
"Late again..."
Suye sighed, who knew that one session of meditation could last an entire night, something he had never experienced before.
With no other choice, Suye grabbed his books and ran outside.
A familiar morning, familiar streets, familiar people.
Figo, holding bread, stood frozen, blinked, saw Suye rushing out, and felt a sense of déjà vu, then suddenly felt a light breeze pass by.
He blinked again, and the bread in his hand was gone.
"Suye!" Figo shouted at the already distant Suye.
"I'll break off the part you bit! Kind Uncle Figo!" Suye continued running without looking back.
Figo smiled helplessly but suddenly froze.
"Suye's aura seems a bit different today. I'll take a closer look next time... From now on, finish eating the bread before going out."
Figo returned home helplessly.
As Suye ran, he suddenly felt something was off.
"When I got here yesterday, I was a bit tired, but today, I'm not only not tired, but the discomfort in my feet has also decreased. Could I be about to become a magic apprentice?"
Suye's face lit up with joy, but he quickly suppressed it.
"I mustn't be arrogant, I mustn't be arrogant..."
Suye laughed all the way to Plato's Academy, glanced at the sea demon fountain, didn't dare to wash up, and headed straight for the classroom.
Suye saw the strange young man playing with ants again. This time, the man did not obstruct the ants, so Suye didn't interfere either.
Once again carrying the scent of earth and grass, Suye arrived at the classroom door without panting.
The classmates couldn't help but laugh, Hutton, who had been beaten badly yesterday, laughed the loudest and wore a peculiar expression.
Teacher Niedern slowly turned his head and stared at Suye.
Suye clearly felt that the warmth in Niedern's artificial eye was gone.
Suye bowed ninety degrees and loudly said, "Teacher, I apologize for being late due to excessive studying. I have no excuses."
Niedern's face was initially stern, but upon closely examining Suye, a warm glint returned to his artificial eye.
"Two years."
Laughter erupted throughout the class.
"I accept the punishment." Suye agreed happily.
In the eyes of most classmates, Suye seemed to be completely unbothered by the situation.
Many who had sympathized with Suye yesterday now shook their heads gently, feeling disappointed. Some even hoped that Suye would get beaten by Hutton.
However, Palos looked at Suye in utter surprise, taking a while before regaining her cold demeanor.
"Is this the strength of Plato's Academy? A mere third from the bottom, advancing to become a magic apprentice at the start of second year. In a noble academy, he’d be considered a minor prodigy. But here, he’s just bullied! I must work harder!"
The blue-eyed girl clenched her small fists once again.
"Let’s go back." Niedern picked up his magic book and sent a magic letter.
Suye returned to his seat happily. He had always wanted to be punished for longer, and unexpectedly, his wish was granted.
"Should we be late again tomorrow? No, let’s give Teacher Niedern some face."
Holt whispered, "What’s wrong with you? You’re not giving up on your studies, are you?"
Suye was taken aback, surprised to see Holt’s worried expression.
Suye smiled and whispered back, "You misunderstood. I practiced meditation all day yesterday and successfully entered my own light. I feel full of energy now, and it won’t be long before I advance to become a magic apprentice!"
Holt was ecstatic, opening his mouth as if to shout, but quickly closed it. He took out his magic book and sent a magic letter to Suye.
"Really? I’m so happy for you."
"It’s not a big deal."
The two began chatting via magic letters.
Palos glanced at Suye and thought, "Clearly already a magic apprentice, yet hiding his strength. Is he really that humble? Are all students at Plato’s Academy monsters?"
Suye was chatting happily when he felt a cold gaze from the podium. He immediately stopped and started studying seriously.
This first class happened to be the most important fundamental magic lesson.
According to Suye’s original perfect plan, a quick glance at the book before bed and another quick look in the morning, followed by attending the lecture, would yield excellent results.
But having lost both pre-study opportunities, Suye was somewhat worried. However, as he listened, his concerns faded.
Suye realized that his “punishment” was indeed effective. Listening to the teacher’s summary of key points yesterday counted as a review, and writing the content on the blackboard was a form of pre-study. This meant he had effectively done two short-interval pre-studies, making the lecture easier to follow despite missing further pre-study.
Moreover, Suye vaguely felt that his energy and memory seemed to have improved slightly since yesterday, making him more enthusiastic about learning.
Due to his focused attention, time flew by quickly.
