Chapter 107: Swallowing Up the Evil Wolf Bandit Gang

Two nights later, under cover of darkness.

Claire selected some of the toughest bandits and, led by Lin Xing, Claire, and Kerry, they sneaked toward the stronghold of the Evil Wolf Bandit Gang, intending to take it over in one fell swoop.

Creeping close to the Evil Wolf mountain fort, they could make out shadowy figures patrolling in the faint lamplight. Lin Xing made a hand signal, ordering those behind him to stop and take cover.

Then Lin Xing, Claire, and Kerry slipped inside the compound. According to their plan, the first step was to swiftly eliminate the two chieftains of the Evil Wolf Gang—Big Wolf and Little Wolf.

Once these two were killed, the remaining bandits would be like headless chickens. Without leadership, they would be scattered and leaderless, easy pickings. After that, the Black Wind Stronghold could easily absorb or eliminate them.

The three of them crept to the outskirts of the fort. With a shared look, they sprang into the air and pounced inside.

Simultaneously, Claire put all his force into a shout: "Big Wolf, Little Wolf, come out and meet your doom!" His voice, like a thunderclap, shattered the quiet night.

"Who's there!" A few patrolling bandits heard the noise and immediately charged toward the trio, their weapons slashing at them.

"Looking to die!" Kerry coldly snorted. With a swift movement, the bandits who had charged clutched their necks, blood spurting out, and fell to the ground with a thud.

The thunderous shout directly woke Big Wolf from his slumber. Having his pleasant dream interrupted, Big Wolf exploded in anger. He kicked away the naked woman wrapped around him, hastily threw on an outer garment, grabbed his weapon, and rushed out.

Just as he reached the entrance, he saw Little Wolf emerging as well. "Second Brother, what's happening? Which bastard is making all this noise?"

Little Wolf shook his head, indicating he didn't know. "Whoever it is, I'll make sure they don't leave here alive!" Little Wolf licked his lips, a bloodthirsty, cruel grin on his face.

"Big Wolf, Little Wolf, you two pieces of trash, too chicken to come out?" Claire, seeing no sign of them, couldn't help but shout again.

"Bastard! Who's the bastard seeking death!" Big Wolf roared and charged out.

"It's me, Claire!" Claire bellowed.

"It's you!" Big Wolf and Little Wolf frowned. "You have a death wish? But since you've come here begging to die, we'll finish you off! Saves me the trip to Black Wind Stronghold."

Lin Xing observed the two middle-aged men who emerged. Both were tall and burly, one with several scars crisscrossing his face.

"Young Master Lone Star, the one with the scarred face is Big Wolf. Kerry and I will deal with him. You handle Little Wolf," Claire said to Lin Xing.

"No, I'll take on Big Wolf!" Lin Xing refused.

Big Wolf and Little Wolf grew furious upon hearing this, feeling like pieces on a chessboard. Enraged, they exchanged a glance and simultaneously charged at the trio.

"You two deal with Little Wolf. Leave Big Wolf to me!" As Lin Xing spoke, he leaped forward, shooting toward the enemy. Claire and Kerry followed closely behind.

"Wind Break!" While still mid-air, Lin Xing swung his blade.

A massive Energy Blade slashed fiercely toward the charging Big Wolf and Little Wolf.

Sensing the tremendous power, the Wolf brothers exchanged a look, leaped into the air simultaneously, and both struck the energy-formed blade with their greatswords.

"Boom!" The Energy Blade dissipated in the air, while the careless Wolf brothers were knocked back to the ground, stumbling backward several steps. By then, Lin Xing and the other two had already closed in on them.

"Prepare to die!" Claire roared, slashing down at Little Wolf, while Kerry went for Little Wolf's legs with his sword.

Seeing this, Big Wolf tried to rush over, but Lin Xing was already upon him. With a "clang," Lin Xing sent Big Wolf flying backward, farther away from Little Wolf.

As Big Wolf was sent flying, Lin Xing stayed on him like a shadow, throwing a punch aimed at Big Wolf's head. Big Wolf tilted his head slightly, dodging the punch, which grazed past his ear. The force of the punch scraped painfully against his ear and cheek.

"Ha!" Big Wolf swung his sword at Lin Xing's arm.

Lin Xing retreated several steps, then stomped hard on the ground and lunged at Big Wolf again. Meanwhile, on the other side, Little Wolf was in serious trouble!

Originally, Little Wolf's strength was roughly on par with Claire's. But now, with the addition of Kerry, who was known for his speed, Little Wolf was clearly no match for their combined assault.

"All of you, attack!" Little Wolf roared at the surrounding bandits.

Hearing the command, the bandits swarmed forward.

"Time to die!" Seizing an opening, Lin Xing kicked Big Wolf squarely in the abdomen. "Pfft!" Big Wolf vomited a mouthful of blood and was sent flying backward.

Casually slashing away a bandit who had rushed forward, Lin Xing shot toward the flying Big Wolf once more.

"Protect the Stronghold Master!" Immediately, many people stepped in between Lin Xing and Big Wolf.

"Hmph!" Lin Xing snorted coldly, focused his power, and unleashed another "Wind Break." After the attack, everyone blocking Lin Xing's path had been sent flying. Lin Xing accelerated again, shooting toward the fleeing Big Wolf.

He soon caught up with the severely wounded Big Wolf and delivered another fierce slash. Feeling pursued again, Big Wolf seethed with hatred! In desperation, like a cornered animal, Big Wolf turned around with bloodshot eyes and charged straight at Lin Xing, ready to fight for his life.

But ultimately, his body was heavily wounded, and he lacked Lin Xing's monstrous Nine Yang Zhen Qi. Even in a desperate struggle, he was no match for Lin Xing.

Watching his brother being brutalized over there, Little Wolf desperately wanted to rush to his aid but was constantly entangled by Claire and Kerry. Although his subordinates tried to help, his situation grew increasingly desperate.

"Ah!" A piercing scream echoed. Startled, Little Wolf turned his head and saw a sight that filled him with dread: Lin Xing brought his blade down on the already airborne Big Wolf, instantly cleaving him in two!

Little Wolf let out a furious cry and charged toward Lin Xing, intent on fighting to the death. But at that moment, with his back exposed, Kerry's sword pierced straight through his heart.

Just as he was about to take a step, Little Wolf felt a sharp pain in his heart. Looking down, he saw a sword point protruding from his chest.

Before he could react, he felt a searing pain in his neck. Suddenly, he saw his own neck spurting blood—Claire had severed it with a single slash!

With both wolves dealt with, Claire shouted loudly, "Drop your weapons, and we'll spare your lives! Anyone who resists will be killed without mercy!"

The bandits hurriedly dropped their weapons. With their leaders dead, resistance would only mean certain death.

Moreover, those who attempted to resist had already been cut down. So now, all the bandits laid down their weapons.
