Upon reaching the dormitory area of Half-Moon Academy, Lin Xing couldn't help but be taken aback. At a glance, there were dozens of student dormitory buildings, not to mention those for teachers and other staff. However, none of these dormitories were taller than five stories. Due to the vast campus of Half-Moon Academy, these buildings weren't crammed together; there was a considerable distance between each one. The surroundings of the dormitories were densely packed with trees, blanketing the area in green.

"Pretty impressive, huh? Amazing, right?" Seeing Lin Xing's look of astonishment, Xu Feng chuckled proudly. "I was just as amazed when I first saw these dorms. I could hardly believe Half-Moon Academy's dormitories would be like this, that there would be so many of them. Haha." Xu Feng laughed as he spoke.

After looking around for a while, Lin Xing praised, "It really lives up to being the continent's top academy. Even the student dormitories are so grand." Lin Xing's admiration was genuine; Half-Moon Academy was truly impressive. Judging by this, it clearly had deep pockets.

"This side is the male dormitory, and the female dormitory is over there. The ones with red walls are the girls' dorms," Xu Feng said, pointing at the buildings.

Looking where he pointed, Lin Xing saw the clearly divided dormitory areas. The walls of the male dormitories were all white. The male and female dormitories weren't actually far apart, but they were obviously separate, each clustered together.

"Stop looking, let's head back to our dorm first. You'll have plenty of chances to look later," Xu Feng said.

Following Xu Feng, they went straight to Building 16, Room 501. Using the key provided by the academy, they opened the door. Lin Xing saw that the interior of the dorm was also quite luxurious.

The dorm room was spacious, containing two bunk beds, indicating it was a four-person room. Besides the beds, there were some chairs and desks. At the back of the room were the bathroom and shower, and behind that was a large balcony.

"So, what do you think? The dorm here is pretty good, right? Spacious and with good lighting." Lin Xing nodded, "Not bad at all."

Lin Xing walked in casually. "How are the beds assigned?" Seeing that one bed already had belongings on it while the other three were completely empty, he asked. "It's random. The academy doesn't assign them; it's first come, first served. You can pick whichever bed you like," Xu Feng replied with a smile.

"Then I'll take this one," Lin Xing chose an upper bunk near the back. After making his choice, he took out his bedding and other items from his spatial ring; these had been prepared long ago.

After tidying up his things, Lin Xing and Xu Feng chatted in the dorm. Before long, they heard a commotion outside the door, followed by the door opening. Several people entered from outside. Leading them was a fair-skinned youth about half a head shorter than Lin Xing.

"Young Master, this is your dormitory," a man who appeared to be a servant said to the fair-skinned youth.

"Mm. After you put my things away, you can all go back," the fair-skinned youth said.

"But..." The man wanted to say more, but the fair-skinned youth frowned, displeased. "This is Half-Moon Academy now. It's absolutely safe here; I don't need your protection." It seemed this youth didn't like having people constantly following him.

"Go back and tell my father that I'm not in any danger here. Tell him not to send anyone in the future. Just have money sent to me every month," the fair-skinned youth instructed.

"Yes, Young Master. I will certainly relay that to the Master when I return," the servant who had just spoken said. "But Young Master, are you sure you don't need them to protect you?"

The fair-skinned youth frowned again. "No need. All of you, go back now." He was already growing impatient.

After a while, these people finally finished arranging everything the fair-skinned youth needed. Bidding him farewell, they left.

As soon as they were gone, the fair-skinned youth's expression changed. He smiled and muttered to himself, "Finally free now! Wow, the sky is so blue, freedom is so wonderful. A wonderful life, here I come, Liu Yi!"

After marveling for a moment, Liu Yi finally remembered there were two other living people in the room. Lin Xing and Xu Feng were still stunned by the youth's sudden change in expression and hadn't quite snapped out of it. "Hello, you two. You're also in this dorm, right? From now on, we'll be roommates. Nice to meet you both. Oh, right, I'm from the Tike Empire. My name is Liu Yi," Liu Yi said politely to Lin Xing and Xu Feng.

Just as Lin Xing and Xu Feng were about to speak, noise from the corridor outside sounded again. Lin Xing smiled slightly and said, "It seems all four of our roommates are finally here."

Sure enough, before Lin Xing's words had fully faded, the door was pushed open and three people walked in. They appeared to be parents and their son.

The one walking in front was tall and thin, about the same height as Lin Xing but rather skinny. Judging by their attire, they likely weren't nobility, probably just ordinary commoners. Seeing Lin Xing and the other two, they politely greeted them and then began arranging the tall, thin youth's belongings. They finished tidying up in no time.

"Father, Mother, you should head back now. Classes start in a few days," the tall, thin youth said.

"Alright then. Xiwen, study hard at the academy from now on. Your mother and I will go back now. If you run out of money, just send a letter," the tall, thin youth's father said. Xiwen nodded. "I will study hard. Be careful on your way." After seeing his parents off, Xiwen returned. Lin Xing and the other two were already deep in conversation.

"Hey, you're Xiwen, right? Come on over and join us! Let's all get to know each other," Liu Yi said with a grin.

Hearing this, Xiwen walked over. "I'm from the Huaxia Empire. My name is Xiwen. And you all?" It seemed Xiwen didn't feel inferior in front of Lin Xing and the others because of his background. "Haha, Lone Star! Who would've thought our dorm would have two people from the Huaxia Empire! You're fellow countrymen! By the way, I'm Xu Feng, from the Clark Duchy. He's Lone Star, also from the Huaxia Empire." Then everyone introduced themselves.

All four roommates were open-minded people. Being the same age and now sharing a dorm, they quickly hit it off. In no time, they became familiar with each other.
