Sensing Hei Hu's conveyed feelings of surprise and gratitude, Lin Xing laughed heartily and patted Hei Hu's head. "Hei Hu, I don't like slave contracts, so we'll form an equal contract instead." It turned out Lin Xing had formed an equal contract with Hei Hu.

Hei Hu gave Lin Xing a grateful look, and then Lin Xing heard Hei Hu's voice in his mind: "Thank you, Master." Lin Xing was momentarily stunned before realizing this was telepathic communication between a pet and its master.

Lin Xing laughed again. "Hei Hu, well, from now on, you'll be called Hei Hu!"

Hei Hu seemed unwilling, but Lin Xing was firm on the name, leaving Hei Hu with no choice but to reluctantly accept.

"Hei Hu, from now on, don't call me 'Master' or anything like that. Just call me 'Boss,'" Lin Xing said.

"Why, Master?" Hei Hu looked at Lin Xing curiously.
