The girl at the door seemed to notice Gu Feng's gaze and quickly ran away.

Meanwhile, the students on the court lined up as instructed by Gu Feng and began running laps, with Chen Xu and the other four leading the group.

After the students finished their laps, Gu Feng led them through warm-up exercises, then had each student take a basketball to practice dribbling. The girl who had been peeking at the door earlier was none other than Lin Jiaying. For teenagers around sixteen or seventeen, relationships were usually kept secret; if parents or teachers found out, it wouldn't end well. Moreover, Lin Jiaying's mother, Xu Qin, was the school principal. If this were discovered, Chen Xu could very well get expelled.

"Teacher Gu, you won't tell Principal Xu, will you?" Chen Xu asked nervously. Although he and Lin Jiaying weren't officially dating, he was still worried that Gu Feng might report this to Xu Qin.

"Tell me, what exactly is your relationship with Lin Jiaying?" Instead of giving Chen Xu a clear answer, Gu Feng asked another question.

Chen Xu looked at Gu Feng with an uneasy expression, hesitated for a moment, and said, "Teacher Gu, if I tell you, can you promise not to tell Principal Xu?"

Gu Feng nodded lightly.

Seeing Gu Feng nod, Chen Xu felt somewhat relieved and proceeded to tell Gu Feng about his pursuit of Lin Jiaying, though he made no mention of what Lin Jiaying had said to him that morning.

"Earlier, when you deliberately picked a fight in front of the whole class, was that on Lin Jiaying's orders?" After hearing Chen Xu say that he was merely pursuing Lin Jiaying, Gu Feng breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Chen Xu gritted his teeth and nodded.

If Chen Xu had harbored any hostility toward Gu Feng before, at this moment, he didn't dare challenge him anymore because his secret was now in Gu Feng's hands.

Seeing Chen Xu's worried expression, Gu Feng deliberately relaxed his demeanor and said, "Chen Xu, since you're pursuing Lin Jiaying, you must know her quite well, right?"

Chen Xu nodded, then shook his head, saying, "Not very well."

"Then tell me, what are Lin Jiaying's hobbies?" Gu Feng asked.

"Alright, go back to the group," Gu Feng said without answering Chen Xu's question.

Although Chen Xu was curious about Gu Feng's identity, seeing that Gu Feng was unwilling to say more, he didn't dare press further. He simply lowered his head and walked back to the group.
