Although Tian Tao and the others were reluctant to have Gu Feng go with them to class, they had no choice but to grit their teeth and agree.

After leaving the gym, Big Shark and the other four students made an excuse to go to the school clinic for a check-up. As they left, their faces showed expressions of anticipation, which puzzled Gu Feng.

From Tian Tao, Gu Feng learned that the leader among the four girls was named Guan Mingyue.

Due to Guan Mingyue and her friends' attire, they were getting crazy amounts of attention along the way. Some older students even whistled at them upon seeing the four.

In response to the boys' provocations, Guan Mingyue and the other three girls extended their middle fingers, making a universally understood gesture of contempt, and retorted, "With mugs like yours, you think you can hit on us? Get lost!"

Gu Feng frowned and said, "Guan Mingyue, cover up."

"Teacher, we're almost adults. We have our own sense of style and don't need you to teach us how to dress," Guan Mingyue replied with dissatisfaction. "Besides, teacher, I suggest you stop wearing that green vest in the future. It's just too lame."

"I can't control your taste, but at school, you should look like students. You're students, not streetwalkers. Who are you dressing so provocatively for? Do you feel proud when a bunch of boys stare at your legs and chests?" Gu Feng said sternly.

Gu Feng's words hit home with the four girls. In their adolescence, they had a strong desire for attention. Dressing provocatively was meant to attract boys' gazes, and in their view, the higher the attention they received at school, the bigger the thrill.

"Just because you're uncool doesn't mean we have to be uncool with you!" Guan Mingyue said angrily. "Comparing us to prostitutes, teacher, what do you mean by that?"

"Actually, what the teacher says makes some sense. True beauty lies in one's demeanor, not in how one dresses," Tian Tao said, puffing out his chest with a smile.

"Get lost, Four-eyed Frog! Looking like a loser, you'll never find a girlfriend in your life!" Tian Tao's sucking up angered Guan Mingyue.

"Yesterday, on my way home, I saw a student dressed provocatively who was dragged into an alley by some thugs and almost raped," Gu Feng said matter-of-factly. "If you think that won't happen to you, then pretend I didn't say a word."

After saying this, Gu Feng ignored Guan Mingyue and the others and walked ahead.

The four girls were spooked by Gu Feng's words. They had recently heard about incidents of girls being raped at nearby schools.

Guan Mingyue instinctively glanced at the boys nearby. Seeing the creepy looks on their faces, her face went a little white. She was the first to button up her collar and untie the bow at the bottom of her shirt. The other three girls followed her example.

After doing this, the four girls followed Gu Feng and Tian Tao toward the classroom of Class 8, Grade 4.

A few minutes later, led by Tian Tao, Gu Feng arrived at the building where Class 8, Grade 4 was located. As they approached the classroom, Gu Feng clearly heard loud, chaotic noises, as if it were a bustling market.

By this time, the study hall bell had already rung. Other classes were quiet, but Class 8, Grade 4 was the noisiest.

"Tian Tao, it's study hall. Doesn't the school discipline your class for being so noisy?" Gu Feng asked curiously.

"They do! The school criticizes our class every week," Tian Tao replied nonchalantly. "Besides, many students in our class have gotten in trouble, but they don't care. Their families have connections, so they're not afraid of being expelled."

Hearing this, Gu Feng understood. In his view, Class 8, Grade 4 at Purple Maple Middle School was somewhat similar to the "Prince Platoon" of the former 76th Army, though the latter was far more formidable.

When Gu Feng reached the entrance of Class 8, Grade 4, his brow furrowed. The entire class was gathered in the hallway, with some students even standing on desks, all shouting loudly.

"Ling Wei, let's just take the teacher to the school clinic. If this continues, she'll have a nervous breakdown!" someone in the crowd said.

"Hong Kong's mental hospitals have plenty of patients. One more won't make a difference," a student with bangs said, taking a drag from a cigar with an indifferent expression.

Hearing the students' conversation, Gu Feng's expression changed, and he quickly shoved his way through the crowd.

The next moment, Gu Feng was shocked by the scene before him.

Xia Wei lay pale on the hallway floor, her white dress covered in dust. A large bump had formed on her forehead, and blood stained her beautiful cheeks. Fear filled her lovely eyes. A small snake, less than two inches long, coiled around her fair calf, flicking its forked tongue.

Many boys surrounded Xia Wei, but none of them moved to remove the snake. A few braver girls squeezed into the crowd, looking at the snake with discomfort.

Face set in a grim line, Gu Feng rushed over, grabbed the snake's head, squeezed the life out of it, tossed it aside, and then picked up Xia Wei.

"Who are you?" Gu Feng's sudden appearance stunned everyone. When they saw him pick up Xia Wei, someone asked.

Gu Feng stopped and swept his icy gaze over the surrounding students, shouting sternly, "No one leaves today!" Then, he called out to Tian Tao, "Tian Tao, take me to the school clinic."

"Put her down, you bastard!" At this moment, Ling Wei, who had been sitting in the back smoking a cigar, threw it aside and roared angrily at Gu Feng.

Hearing Ling Wei speak, the other students turned their attention to Gu Feng. Some even wore smirking expressions.

"Was it you?" Gu Feng stopped again, glaring coldly at Ling Wei.

Ling Wei felt a chill under Gu Feng's icy gaze but quickly adjusted his expression. "So what if it was me? I told you to put her down!"

"If you dare leave this classroom today, I'll break your legs!" Gu Feng coldly threw down these words and carried Xia Wei toward the door. Although Xia Wei had fainted, she was not seriously injured, and the wound on her forehead was only superficial. It was for this reason that Gu Feng had stopped to speak with Ling Wei.

"Trying to play the hero saving the beauty? I'll be waiting for you! If you don't show up, you're my grandson!" Shaking with rage at Gu Feng's words, Ling Wei cursed furiously.
