When Lin Xing asked her a question, the woman couldn't help but begin to cry.

Lin Xing felt exasperated—he was most afraid of women's tears. "Alright, alright, stop crying. Quickly tell me what's going on here so I can rescue you all."

"Young master, are you really here to save us?" the woman asked hopefully.

"Yes, hurry up and tell me, or it'll be too late," Lin Xing urged.

Upon hearing this, the woman became even more sorrowful. "In that case, let me make this quick. My name is Lucy. I was originally an ordinary girl from a village in the Star Kingdom. Although my family was poor, we lived happily and peacefully!"

"But one day, my peaceful and happy life was shattered. And it was because of them!" Lucy pointed at the dead Divine Wind Sect member on the ground, speaking with a hint of sorrow.

"It was them, it was them. I remember it clearly. That night, our village was peaceful, but a clamor shattered the tranquility! It was them—they had many people, and they were kidnapping children from our village! At first, our people resisted, but they were powerful and cruel! Later, they brutally killed all those who resisted! After that, most of the villagers didn't dare to resist anymore and could only watch helplessly as they took our children away."

"We thought maybe that would be the end of it, but... these scum worse than animals!" Lucy grew increasingly angry as she spoke, kicking the lifeless Divine Wind Sect follower and, still unsatisfied, spitting on the corpse. It was clear how deep her hatred ran!

"What happened next?" Lin Xing couldn't help but ask.

"Later... later, when they saw us women, they had evil intentions and raped us right then and there! But we resisted desperately, and the men in the village also started to fight back! But it was useless—we couldn't defeat them. The only outcome for those who resisted was being brutally killed by them! Not only did they kill us, but they also..." Lucy was too heartbroken to continue.

"We didn't want our loved ones to be killed by them anymore, so we stopped resisting. Just like that, many of our sisters were raped by them! Not only that, but they also brought us here, locked us up, and used us as tools for their lust! We've held on this long, hoping that one day we could take revenge! But some of our sisters never lived to see that day! Some couldn't bear the humiliation and committed suicide, while others were killed for resisting!" Lucy spoke with immense sorrow and pain.

"Alright, don't be sad anymore. How many of your sisters and the kidnapped children are still inside?" Lin Xing tried to comfort Lucy.

"There are probably about a dozen sisters left, but there seem to be over twenty children. They're all locked up in the cave over there. The cave has two chambers—one for our sisters and one for the kidnapped children. We're kept far apart, so I'm not sure exactly how many there are."

"Young master, I'm begging you, please save us, and help us get revenge!" Lucy pleaded, her eyes fixed on Lin Xing.

Lin Xing nodded and agreed. "Alright, I'll go save them now. Will you be okay hiding here alone?" Lin Xing asked.

"Yes," Lucy nodded. "Remember, no matter what happens later, don't come out. Stay hidden here until I call for you!" Lin Xing instructed. "If I fail to save them, then you'll have to fend for yourself."

Without looking back, Lin Xing walked outside.

"Young master!" Lucy called out to him. "Hmm? What is it?" "Young master, what's your name?" Lucy asked, looking at him expectantly.

"My name is Lin Xing!" Lin Xing glanced at Lucy. "Remember what I said!"

Lin Xing slipped out of the room. The sky was still dark. He glanced at the brightly lit room and the isolated luxurious room in the distance. Although there was light there too, it was eerily quiet, with no movement.

Using the darkness as cover, Lin Xing darted toward the cave.

After easily dealing with the few useless guards at the entrance, Lin Xing headed straight into the cave.

The cave wasn't very large, and the air was thick with a strange smell. Lin Xing frowned—this was clearly a prison layout. The smell was truly unpleasant!

In the dim light, Lin Xing could see the peculiar layout of the cave. It split into two branching chambers, and from both chambers came the sound of many breaths. "Hmm, this must be the cave where the kidnapped people are held. I'll release them first!"

Apart from the few guards at the entrance whom Lin Xing had already dealt with, there were no other guards inside. Perhaps they thought the prisoners posed no threat or were incapable of escaping.

This, however, worked in Lin Xing's favor. He now entered one of the branching chambers. Not far inside, he saw a series of partitioned cells!

Lin Xing approached and saw that they were filled with kidnapped women. When the women saw Lin Xing approaching, some merely stared at him with dull, lifeless eyes, devoid of any emotion. They looked at Lin Xing as if he were an unrelated object, feeling nothing.

Lin Xing's heart ached. What kind of gaze was this? Lifeless, colorless, like a puppet with moving eyes! It wasn't something a living person should have. One could imagine that they had lost all hope in their lives, and now they were merely moving shells.

What could have caused them to lose all hope? The Divine Wind Sect! Lin Xing's hatred for the sect grew even stronger.

When they saw Lin Xing break the lock open, the people inside were momentarily surprised and felt a glimmer of hope. But soon, immense hatred overshadowed that hope, and they shot Lin Xing hateful glares.

Lin Xing took no offense; in fact, he was somewhat glad. Being able to hate him meant they were still normal people, still capable of feeling hatred! This was far better than those who were utterly lifeless.

Lin Xing lowered his voice and said, "Everyone, I'm here to rescue you. Hurry and follow me out!"

The women locked in the cells went from initial surprise to disbelief. No one believed Lin Xing was there to save them—they had long given up hope.

Seeing their expressions, Lin Xing grew anxious. "Everyone, I'm really here to save you. Do you have a sister named Lucy?" Seeing their disbelief, Lin Xing mentioned Lucy.

Sure enough, "Lucy? You mean Sister Lucy?" A woman who had been hiding in the corner, glaring at Lin Xing the most, stood up and asked.

"Yes, Lucy. She was the first person I rescued, and I told her to hide outside. Now I'm here to save you," Lin Xing said sincerely. He then described a few of Lucy's characteristics.

"It really is Sister Lucy!" the woman exclaimed happily, her face lighting up with hope. "Are you really here to save us?" Looking at Lin Xing's youthful appearance, she wore an expression of disbelief. It wasn't that she didn't believe he was there to rescue them—she already did—but she doubted he had the ability.

"What, don't I look like it?" Lin Xing was doubted once again. He couldn't help but laugh bitterly in response.

"You look much younger than me. I really don't believe you have the strength!" the woman said, still full of doubt, sizing Lin Xing up.

Lin Xing grew increasingly anxious. What time was it now? If they were discovered, it would be troublesome. And now these people didn't believe him—Lin Xing was so anxious he felt like sweating.

"Big sister, whether you believe me or not, I'm really here to save you. Alright, if you don't believe me, staying here means waiting for death. Isn't it better to follow me? Once you escape from here, you'll believe I'm telling the truth!"

Seeing Lin Xing's anxious expression, the woman said, "Fine, I believe you! Let's take a chance!"

"Good, big sister, thank you. Please help me convince the other sisters to follow me!" Lin Xing could tell this woman seemed to carry some weight among the others, so he asked for her help.

Without another word, the woman said directly, "Sisters, this young master is here to save us now. Let's trust him for now, whether he can get us out or not. But we must seize this only opportunity, or we may never have another chance to escape!"

Suddenly, Lin Xing heard commotion outside and knew they had discovered the dead bodies. "Damn it! Quick, everyone! The people outside have already noticed I'm here. Quickly, we don't have much time!"

After saying this, Lin Xing dashed out and went to another locked room. He opened the door and said to the people inside, "You all, hurry and follow me. There's no time to waste."

Turning around, he saw that the woman had convinced everyone in the room to follow her out.

"Follow me!" The commotion outside was clearly growing. They could hear it and followed Lin Xing.

"Big sister, I'll go save the children first! You all follow me, but don't go outside!"

After giving instructions, Lin Xing dashed toward the other branching chamber, and the women followed him!
