Chapter 315: This is How a Lord Should Be
by adminHolding Ronasa in his arms and riding the Black Dragon horse along the coastline to admire the sunset, Liszt had to admit that he didn’t know what his next move would be.
His original intention was simply to help Levis, to leave a good impression on Ronasa so she wouldn’t persuade her sister to seek freedom, but instead marry Levis peacefully.
But after the horse stumbled, the two ended up riding together.
The contact of their chests and backs, combined with the breathtaking scene of the sun setting into the sea, gradually created an intimate atmosphere. He felt the slight tremor of the delicate body in his arms, could even hear her heart rate quickening, and her breathing becoming heavier.
Suddenly, as if by unspoken agreement, Liszt gently turned her shoulders.
She obediently tilted her upper body, turning her neck backward and closing her eyes. Liszt leaned forward, looking at her long lashes, and without any hesitation, wrapped his hands around her slender waist, pulling her into his embrace before kissing her soft lips fiercely.
Sucking.
Entwining.
Feeling the position somewhat awkward, he abruptly broke the passionate kiss, quickly lifted Ronasa, and placed her sideways on the horse.
“Ahh... Mmm...” Before Ronasa could cry out, half of her voice was muffled in her mouth, leaving only a soft hum from her nose.
The intense kiss was like practicing a difficult piano piece, requiring all his strength to reciprocate, leaving his mind blank, devoid of any thoughts. Only his body responded, feeling the warmth through their clothes, moving continuously, tingling and numb, wanting to resist yet unwilling to let go.
Lost in the primal pleasure.
Allowing the red sunlight to stretch their shadows longer and longer.
...
In the distance.
The retainers of the two nobles gathered together, seeing the entangled figures, none dared to approach any further. They silently dismounted and led their horses to find some grass to eat.
Xavier Niu Fen patted Philip Wool's shoulder and whispered, "Our lord is truly remarkable."
"What?" Philip was somewhat puzzled.
Xavier nodded his head: "Of course, it's charisma. Our lord's charm is unmatched."
"Yes, Xavier, you're right. In Flower Town, everyone respects and loves our lord. He is a born son of glory, and the knightly honor that favors him shines as brightly as the sun."
"Um, I didn't mean that."
Philip was taken aback: "Really? Then what did you mean?"
"Haven't you seen what our lord is doing?" Xavier said with a tone of great surprise, "That is who, the young lady of the noble Gold Wheat family, she is like a star in the sky, out of reach. But now, she is in our lord's arms, enjoying his passion."
"That's quite normal." Philip looked toward the distant seaside, where Liszt and Ronasa had already dismounted, holding hands and strolling among the rocks, "Our lord is like the sun, and the young lady of the Gold Wheat family is like a star. Isn't it natural for the sun and the stars to be together?"
"Um..."
Xavier suddenly felt that what Philip said made a lot of sense, leaving him speechless.
He wanted to say that this should be something surprising! Their lord was just a small rural baron, while the other was the young lady of the Gold Wheat family, destined to be a noble lady. Yet, in just half a day, she had fallen into the hands of their lord.
However, upon further thought, their lord's future was bound to be brilliant, and his status equally noble. Why couldn't he hold hands and kiss passionately with the young lady of the Gold Wheat family?
He had seen at the farewell from Longtaro Castle, a countess's daughter straightening our lord's collar with affectionate eyes.
And he had also seen that very capable and beautiful mercenary woman, looking at our lord with deep love in her eyes.
From the moment he was chosen as a squire, he felt that Lord Liszt seemed to emit light, radiating the glory of knighthood. He was convinced that following Lord Liszt would bring him countless honors.
So.
Watching the noble couple stroll hand in hand along the rocky shore, everything seemed harmonious, as if it were only natural: "Lord Liszt should be like this."
Suddenly.
He thought of the female mercenary Parris again: "Fortunately, she didn’t follow. If she saw Lord Liszt with the young lady of the Golden Wheat family, her heart would be shattered. But she’s just a mercenary and should understand that someone of Lord Liszt’s status is beyond her reach."
The divide between nobles and commoners was deeply ingrained in everyone’s minds.
Without a major social revolution, these mental chains would never be broken—except the very person who should have led the reform, Liszt, had already become one of the nobles, blissfully dreaming of a life riding dragons, with no time for reform.
…
The sunset finally sank into the sea, leaving only a faint afterglow, with a hint of brightness remaining.
Holding Ronasa’s hand and seeing her excited smile, he couldn’t help but smile as well: "Dear, it’s time to go back."
"Hmm." Ronasa jumped down from a rock, threw herself at his arm, hanging on him, tilting her head back, her big eyes blinking, "But I’m not ready to go back yet."
Liszt bent down and kissed her luscious red lips again.
The girl, having shed her initial awkwardness, moved her hands away from his arm, wrapped her arms around his neck, and stood on her tiptoes, beginning to respond to Liszt's kiss passionately. At just over 1.6 meters, she appeared somewhat short compared to Liszt, who was over 1.85 meters tall.
They parted lips.
Calming his emotions, Liszt removed his hands from Ronasa's body, held her hand again, and repeated: "It’s time to go back."
"Hmm." Having received a kiss, Ronasa, now calmer, nodded obediently.
A whistle.
The Black Dragon that had been grazing in the distance galloped over. Liszt supported Ronasa’s waist and helped her mount, then nimbly climbed up behind her.
Holding the girl's slender waist, they rode off at full gallop.
By the time they returned to Tulip Castle, it was already dark. With the moonlight illuminating their way, they exchanged witty remarks and stopped at the castle gate. After helping Ronasa dismount, Liszt did not take her hand again. This wasn’t a moment for indulgence after a ball; noble decorum had to be observed.
"Is that Hiddleston?" Ronasa exclaimed as a huge dog approached them.
"Yes, do you want to pet it?" Liszt waved, and Hiddleston, wagging its tail, came closer, allowing Ronasa to stroke its sleek black fur.
Out of the corner of his eye, Liszt noticed Parris, his guard, peeking out of a first-floor window before quickly withdrawing.
He didn’t pay attention to it and, with a smile, said to Ronasa, "Hiddleston is almost one year old now. I was lucky to have met it when it was just a pup."
"I’ve never seen such a gentle mid-level magical creature. Liszt, will you ride it into battle?"
"Of course, it will be my companion in battle."
Ronasa’s big eyes looked at him, bright and sparkling: "You have a bright future ahead, and I hope to see you gain even more glory in the near future."
"There will be such a day." Liszt nodded, "Come, Grandfather Louis is waiting for us at the door."
