Chapter 385 Ground Glider

Lee William privately sought out Marquis Grindton and asked, "Is there any feedback regarding the second wave of dragon assassination information revealed by Snide?"

"It's fake news. Do you think Marquis Bull is still capable of assassinating the Sapphire Dragon now that he's trapped on Iron Horse Island?" Marquis Grindton denied it outright.

Thinking about it, it indeed made sense.

Severely injuring the Sapphire Dragon once was already a worthy outcome for Marquis Bull's thirty years of planning. Another assassination would imply that all the efforts by the Sapphire Family on Blue Dragon Island had been in vain. The landing was quiet, and with the wind magic supporting it, Loki's weight was greatly reduced.

Liszt was exhilarated. This Loki, though far from flying, was no longer confined to the ground. It could now be considered a flying mount.

"Indeed, I have become a flying knight."

On the way back,

The Serpentine Smoke curled before his eyes: "Mission completed, reward: Loki's Lightness Spell."

It was soon replaced by new serpentine text: "Mission: The search for the Furious Knights and the Goat Assembly is ongoing. Perhaps this marks the end for the Bull Marquis, but no one can know the final outcome. Please wait patiently for the end of the war. Reward: Unknown reward."
