**Chapter 0628: A Change of Heart**

Qin Yun extended his fingers forward without any detectable energy fluctuation.

That was because all his power had been focused at his fingertips!

The force would not be released until it hit its target—this was the lethal precision of the Heaven-Piercing Finger!

The white-masked woman hadn’t anticipated that his attack would suddenly accelerate, leaving her no time to retreat.

    BOOM!

Qin Yun’s two fingers struck the white-masked woman’s palm, creating a thunderous crack.

A dark energy beam pierced through her shoulder and erupted outward.

Her arm was torn apart by the force of Qin Yun’s Heaven-Piercing Finger and shattered instantly.

    “You—how?!”

The white-masked woman was stunned. She recognized the Heaven-Piercing Finger but never imagined Qin Yun could master it so quickly.

After all, such a Heaven-Grade martial skill usually took over a year to grasp.

Yet Qin Yun had only just obtained it and already mastered its foundational technique!

She had underestimated his talent for martial arts.

    “Yun’er!” Qin Yun mentally shouted.

Ling Yuner had been waiting for this moment. She immediately unleashed the super-gravity she had been preparing, slamming it onto the white-masked woman.

    BOOM!

The white-masked woman, who had been hovering in midair, was crushed to the ground under the overwhelming weight.

Mo Mo had compressed the super-gravity field into a one-meter radius, intensifying its effect.

As the white-masked woman slammed into the ground, she reacted swiftly, using all her strength to break free from the oppressive pressure.

Qin Yun activated the second step of the Ninefold Steps—Vanishing Shadow Ceasing Breath!

The white-masked woman, having exhausted herself resisting the gravity, couldn’t immediately recover her full strength.

At that moment, she could neither see Qin Yun nor sense his presence.

This was the signature advantage of Vanishing Shadow Ceasing Breath—it rendered him invisible and undetectable while moving at high speed.

The white-masked woman staggered. She hadn’t expected Qin Yun to have mastered so many advanced techniques in such a short time.

After all, he had never used them before.

Just as she scanned for him, she suddenly sensed danger!

    BOOM!

Qin Yun unleashed the Three Palms of the Dragon's End!

Three palm strikes came in rapid succession, the second devouring the power of the first and instantly multiplying it severalfold!

Then the third devoured the amplified second, boosting its strength once more!

This surge of power happened in a split second.

So when the force first emerged, it didn’t seem strong—but then it exploded into something wildly uncontrollable.

At that moment, Ling Yuner slammed down another wave of crush gravity.

The white-masked woman tried to dodge, but was weighed down by the crushing pressure.

    Boom!

The Triple Dragonbreaker Strikes blasted forward, slamming into the white-masked woman. Violent lightning tore a huge crater into the earth.

The roaring force didn’t stop there—it ripped deep into the ground, leaving behind a yawning chasm!

And yet, the white-masked woman was gone!

Qin Yun closed his eyes and saw his score rise from –7,000 to –2,000. He knew he had gained five thousand points—she had been obliterated.

"Finally got that bitch!" Qin Yun had worried she might run.

He clenched his fists, feeling pumped up and proud.

What really got him hyped was being able to enter the forbidden zone, get close to the Immortal Essence, and even use the Sun Moon Celestial Bed.

"No clue if that psycho’s gonna honor the deal!" Qin stayed put, waiting for her return.

After nearly half an hour, she finally reappeared.

"We had a deal—you backing out now?" Qin Yun demanded the moment he saw her.

"Screw you!" the white-masked woman hissed coldly. She was still fuming after being killed by him.

Qin Yun saw red and bellowed, "You liar!"

Ling Yuner unleashed crush gravity again.

From a distance, Qin Yun struck with Seismic Fist, combining it with the Ninefold Chaos Force to unleash the Triple Dragonbreaker Strikes.

Though dozens of meters away, his strike punched clean through her body, tearing her apart.

His own arm and shoulder were wrecked by the recoil.

    His score finally hit 3,000!

"That woman is completely untrustworthy!" Qin Yun cursed inwardly, rage-quitting the Immortal Armory Simulation.

He woke up on the bed, sat at its edge, and sighed. "Guess I’ll need a Plan B."

    The backstabbing gutted him.

"Are you really leaving like this?" Ling Yuner asked. "You’re ranked eleventh now—top ten’s basically yours!"

"I’ve had enough of that psycho!" Qin Yun snorted. "I’m out!"

He jumped up and booted the door open.

Qin Yun stormed out of the Immortal Armory Palace in a rage, heading straight for Mu Fengxiao’s Eastern Glyph Hall.

When Mu Fengxiao learned of Qin Yun’s arrival, he hurried over to greet him.

“You came alone? That’s pretty risky!” Mu Fengxiao had assumed Chu Binyu would be with him.

“Mu, you fatty, I’m staying here for a while. I’m not going back to the Immortal Armory City!” Qin Yun said, clearly furious.

“What happened? Did those guys from the Immortal Armory City kick you out again?” Mu Fengxiao frowned. “They’ve got no shame! Well, whatever—why don’t you head over to Demonmoon Island then? The female demons there are gorgeous!”

Qin Yun definitely wanted to go to Demonmoon Island, but he worried about dragging them into trouble.

“I’m not going anywhere for now. I’ll stay here and earn some Amethyst Coins first,” Qin Yun replied.

“Qin Yun, what exactly happened in the Immortal Armory City that made you so angry?” Mu Fengxiao asked curiously.

“That person promised me something but didn’t keep their word,” Qin Yun sneered. “Total fraud!”

“If you're still set on pursuing immortality, you could always try the Sword Immortal Sect. They’d welcome you with open arms!” Mu Fengxiao suggested.

The Sword Immortal Sect also had access to Immortal Essence, though it wouldn’t be easy to get close to it.

“I’ll think about it. Set me up with a room—I need to rest for a few days!” Qin Yun had been grinding martial arts day and night lately without any time to let loose.

Now, he planned to relax for a bit.

After staying at Mu Fengxiao’s Glyph Hall for a few days, Chu Binyu arrived.

Chu Binyu had always treated Qin Yun well, so Qin Yun went to meet him.

“Qin Yun, what’s going on? Why did you leave the Immortal Armory Palace without even a word? If Fat Mu hadn’t told me, I wouldn’t have known you were here. We’ve been looking everywhere for you!” Chu Binyu exclaimed.

“Estate Master, that person lied to me. I’m not going back to the Immortal Armory City!” Qin Yun’s anger flared again at the memory.

“The Sect Leader sent me to find you. He said that so-called VIP wants to see you—it’s important!” Chu Binyu pressed.

“I’m not meeting her. Tell her to buzz off!” Qin Yun scoffed. “She’s full of it!”

“But this is a direct order from the Sect Leader… At least talk to him first!” Chu Binyu gave him a pained look. “You’ve done so much for the Immortal Armory City, and even the bigwigs know it. There must be some misunderstanding!”

“Fine.” After a moment’s thought, Qin Yun agreed.

Qin Yun followed Chu Binyu out of the Eastern Glyph Hall and returned to the Immortal Armory Palace, arriving at Bao Changshou’s peak pavilion.

Chu Binyu escorted him to Bao Changshou’s study and then left.

Bao Changshou stood there fresh in white robes, brimming with energy. Seeing Qin Yun, he smiled warmly. “Qin Yun, where have you been these past few days?”

Brushing past pleasantries, Qin Yun asked, “That person wants to see me?”

“Yes. She wanted to talk to you… but you haven’t entered the Armory’s Illusion Realm these last few days,” Bao Changshou said. “What happened between you two?”

“I’ve got nothing to say to her. Give her my regards—I’m leaving the Immortal Armory City,” Qin Yun snapped. “She’s just a total fraud!”

With that, he turned to leap off the balcony.

Bao Changshou quickly caught his arm. “Qin Yun, at least talk to her before you go!”

He could feel the intense rage radiating from Qin Yun—but had no idea what had caused it.

"I've got nothing to say to her!" Qin Yun snapped furiously.

"Of course you do! The fact that she wants to see you means she's willing to make some kind of compromise!"

Bao Changshou quickly interjected. He really didn't want Qin Yun to leave Celestial Armory City—this was his top disciple, albeit stubborn as hell.

"I don’t buy it. She just wants to mock and ridicule me before I leave," Qin Yun shot back angrily. "See you later, old man. I'm heading to the Sword Immortal Pavilion!"

"Don’t go!" Bao Changshou immediately unleashed a restraining energy, binding Qin Yun and dragging him into a sealed chamber, locking him inside.

"Qin Yun, be patient and wait. I’ll go find that important person right away!" Bao Changshou said with a smile before hurrying off.

Inside the chamber, Qin Yun lashed out in frustration, hurling a stream of curses.

The sealed chamber was actually Bao Changshou’s training room—it was built to be extremely sturdy, and no matter how hard Qin Yun attacked, he couldn’t break through. Even using the Piercing Mystic Art failed to make a dent.

    "Damn it!"

Exhausted, Qin Yun dropped onto the floor.

He could have summoned Mo Mo to destroy the arcane seals here and escape, but for some reason, he suddenly wanted to confront that white-masked woman again—to give her a piece of his mind and vent his anger.

More than an hour later, the chamber door opened, and the white-masked woman stepped in, her aura completely concealed.

Bao Changshou quickly shut the door behind her, leaving the two alone together.

"You liar!" Qin Yun exploded the moment he saw her.

"So what?" The white-masked woman smirked triumphantly. "I messed with you on purpose. I mocked you intentionally. What are you going to do about it?"

Qin Yun took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down. Suppressing his fury, he said slowly, "Fine. I admit I was fooled. I deserve it—who told me to accidentally see your body? With a figure like that, looking at it makes me want to gouge my eyes out!"

"You… I'll pulverize you!" The white-masked woman erupted like an erupting volcano, roaring in rage.
