Miss Yu was torn between conflicting emotions and deep concern. She also suspected that Qin Yun had been forced to send her the message to come over.

Though she feared the potential danger, she still went. She couldn't bring herself to leave Qin Yun behind, especially since she felt a deep sense of guilt in her heart.

Her mind in turmoil, Yu Shutian flew over at her fastest speed and soon arrived at the area littered with star fragments.

She saw Qin Yun standing where he had been before.

Beside him were the members of the Black Cloud Gang.

The sight filled Yu Shutian's heart with dread. She dreaded falling into those villains' clutches.

As she landed, she looked at Qin Yun, who was grinning broadly, and found it strange—he didn’t seem under duress at all.

"Miss Yu, everything's fine now!" Qin Yun said with a laugh. He had already discussed with Lei Xiong not to reveal too much about him.

"What... what happened?" Yu Shutian asked, completely baffled.

Lei Xiong smiled. "It was all a misunderstanding! I'm the leader of the Black Cloud Gang, and my members overstepped earlier. Please forgive us! I promise that henceforth, our gang will never commit such misdeeds again!"

While flying over, Yu Shutian had imagined many possible scenarios—fighting, being captured, or even going down together. She had prepared for the worst.

But what was happening before her eyes now was beyond her expectations.

She had thought she and Qin Yun were doomed, yet the leader of the Black Cloud Gang was not only polite but even apologized to her.

This left Yu Shutian frozen in shock, unable to process the situation.

"We’re here to gather some materials!" Qin Yun said lightheartedly. "Friends, you're free to go now!"

"There are only two of you, and this area is vast. It’ll take you a long time to collect everything. Let us help! What exactly are you looking for?" Lei Xiong offered.

Qin Yun gave the stunned Yu Shutian a nudge. "Miss Yu, what materials do you need? Tell them so they can help!"

Yu Shutian was shocked once more. These Black Cloud Gang members, who had been fierce and violent earlier, now acted like chivalrous warriors—polite and even offering assistance.

She wondered if Qin Yun had used some powerful potion to suddenly change their personalities.

"Ah Yun, let's go!" Yu Shutian urged in a hushed, wary tone.

"It’s fine, they won’t harm us anymore!" Qin Yun said reassuringly.

"Really? What exactly happened?" Yu Shutian remained puzzled.

"The leader of the Black Cloud Gang is a decent man. We got along well!" Qin Yun said.

Lei Xiong spoke up, "Perhaps we frightened this young lady. Then we’ll take our leave now. Let’s share a drink another time!"

With that, the Black Cloud Gang quickly departed.

Qin Yun turned to Yu Shutian with a grin. "See? You can relax now. They’re gone. Let’s start gathering materials!"

Yu Shutian heaved a deep sigh. "What the hell happened? You nearly scared me to death earlier!"

Qin Yun chuckled. "Like I told you, the leader of the Black Cloud Gang is a reasonable man. I reasoned with him, and he realized their gang was in the wrong. So we made peace!"

Yu Shutian pouted, "I don't believe someone like that would listen to reason! Some people only understand the language of fists—fists speak louder than words!"

Qin Yun smiled. Indeed, it was only because he had some strength that he could reason with those people.

Now at ease, Yu Shutian took out a transparent crystal lens and handed one to Qin Yun. "Place this over your eyes. It will let you see stones imbued with Stellar Force nearby—those are the materials we need to collect!"

The lens was palm-sized and very thin.

Qin Yun held it up to his eye and looked around, spotting a stone ahead that emitted faint red mist. When he lowered the lens, the mist vanished.

"This is amazing! It lets me see the Stellar Force leaking from objects!" Qin Yun marveled. "Miss Yu, where did you get this?"

Yu Shutian smirked proudly. "I crafted it myself! It's incredibly rare—each one takes me a full year to make. I only have two in my possession!"

Qin Yun picked up a basket and began gathering the stones containing Stellar Force.

The Stellar Force inside was sparse, but the stones were beautiful. Qin Yun wasn't sure what they were for, but Yu Shutian had said they were needed to study stellar core structures.

"Xiao Yun, I suspect Yu Shutian isn't human!" Ling Yuner suddenly remarked.

"If she's not human, then what is she?" Qin Yun asked, puzzled. "Is she a Star Spirit like Sister Bingxing?"

"Something similar to Sister Bingxing!" Ling Yuner giggled. "You've hit the jackpot meeting a rare gem like her!"

"Then what exactly is she?" Qin Yun quickly glanced at Yu Shutian. Through the lens, he could see a wispy white aura radiating from her, releasing an incredibly dense and pure Stellar Force.

"If I'm not mistaken, she's a Stellar Spirit!" Ling Yuner said. "And a special one at that—normal ones stay tiny!"

Within Qin Yun’s Nine Sun Divine Soul, there was Mo Mo, a tiny sprite who was small and cute as a button.

Qin Yun stared at Yu Shutian in disbelief—she was actually a Stellar Spirit!

"These Stellar Spirits are usually very small. The fact that she's so big must be due to some special reason. You’ll have to ask her yourself!" Ling Yuner added.

"I’ll ask her when we get closer. Now isn’t the right time," Qin Yun decided.

Before long, Qin Yun had filled a large basket with stones. They were useless to him, so he didn’t keep any.

Scanning through the lens again, he suddenly noticed black mist rising from the ground. "Miss Yu, should I take the stones with black mist?"

"Yes!" Yu Shutian shouted from a distance.

Qin Yun hurried over and dug out a black, oval-shaped stone the size of a watermelon.

Yu Shutian rushed over excitedly. "This is a Darkstar Stone—it contains a lot of Nether Star Force!"

Qin Yun frowned. "What’s the use?"

"It can enhance mental energy. Test if you can draw it in—if you can, you should keep it!" Yu Shutian suggested.

Closing his eyes, Qin Yun drew in the Darkstar Stone’s energy. Sure enough, he could absorb a thick, alien stellar energy that strengthened his mental energy.

Suddenly, a group of figures streaked toward them from the distant sky.

They were Ling Xinyun, Ai Yuan, and Tong Qinxin, along with those three leeches by their side.

They had been watching from afar with a spirit-viewing scope and only dared to approach after confirming Qin Yun and Yu Shutian were unharmed.

Upon landing, they noticed the large black gem in Qin Yun’s hands and immediately knew it was no ordinary stone.

Ling Xinyun whispered, "Yu Shutian, where's the Black Cloud Gang?"

Seeing Yu Shutian safe, Tong Qinxin sighed in relief. "You scared us to death! Did the Black Cloud Gang do anything to you?"

Ai Yuan glanced around warily. "Should we head back? If the Black Cloud Gang shows up, we’ll be in trouble!"

Yu Shutian smiled. "The Black Cloud Gang is gone. We’re fine now!"

"Boy, hand over that black stone!" Hua Feng demanded coldly, emboldened by the absence of the Black Cloud Gang.

"He found that stone himself. Why should he give it to you?" Yu Shutian stepped forward angrily, planting herself before Qin Yun. "You’ve been bullying my page nonstop, as if I don’t even exist! If you keep harassing him, I won’t hold back!"

Wu Fugui sneered. "These two baskets of stones you’ve gathered are worth a fortune! Since we came along, you should split half with us!"

Wei Tianan laughed loudly. "Yu Shutian, you may be at the Martial King Realm, but do you dare lay a hand on us? If you injure us, you’ll never be welcomed in Hundred-Tower City again—our families will make sure of it!"

Hua Feng crowed victoriously. "Just give us half of what you’ve collected!"

The three leeches, blinded by greed, were especially envious that Qin Yun had obtained such a valuable stone.

Ling Xinyun snapped, "You shameless vultures! These stones were gathered by Yu Shutian herself. We’ve never demanded a share before—are you trying to rob her now?"

Tong Qinxin also shouted angrily, "You good-for-nothings ran off earlier and refused to come back with Yu Shutian! Now that she’s found so many good stones, you want to steal them?"

"You foolish women, don’t you realize the value of these stones? Those two baskets are worth at least three-million purple crystal coins!" Wu Fugui said coldly. "Those who see should share—hand over half, or you'll pay dearly!"

Qin Yun placed the black stone into one of the baskets and tossed it toward Hua Feng and the others. "Fine, take half. Happy now? Fight over it like dogs and return the basket."

Yu Shutian burned holes through them with her glare.

Wu Fugui and his companions were practically drooling, ravenously grabbing for the stones inside the basket.

Just then, a surge of murderous auras surrounded them.

The Black Cloud Gang had returned!

Lei Xiong led his gang back, encircling the group the moment they appeared.

Terrified, Tong Qinxin and the other two women quickly hid behind Yu Shutian.

The three leeches, Hua Feng included, turned to statues, still clutching the stones in their hands.

"B-Big Brother… why are you back?" Hua Feng stammered, his courage shattered—he knew Lei Xiong was a formidable Emperor Wu.

"This is our turf. We never left," Lei Xiong said icily. "What are you doing here? Who gave you permission to collect stones on my land?"
