Chapter 0894 Arrival in the Mystic Realm
byChapter 0894: Arriving at the Profound Domain
Qin Yun suddenly felt that Ying Chengyu had deliberately led him into a bandit hideout.
After wrestling with himself, he finally took out a blue saw.
The bandits, who knew their stuff, lit up upon seeing the blue saw.
Qin Yun handed the saw to Ying Chengyu.
As soon as Ying Chengyu took the saw, the bandit leader approached.
"Give it to me!" The bandit leader reached out to snatch it.
Ying Chengyu gripped the saw's handle tightly and swiped fiercely at the bandit leader, bisecting him at the waist!
After killing the bandit leader, Ying Chengyu swiftly dispatched the few approaching Emperor Wu-level bandits.
"Just a piece-of-junk saw—fine, I gave it back to him!" Qin Yun cursed inwardly, then his eyes flared with white light that struck the bandit leader's body.
Immediately after, Qin Yun's body transformed into a bolt of white light, shooting through the bandit leader's body at incredible speed.
As Qin Yun passed through the leader's body, he snatched the Half-Immortal Life Crystal and Martial Soul within.
By then, Ying Chengyu had already killed the other bandits, all of whom were Emperor Wu-level!
Qin Yun rushed over to rifle through the corpses, collecting the Emperor Wu's Dao Pills and Martial Souls. Obtaining the Half-Immortal Life Crystal at least meant he broke even.
Ying Chengyu landed on the ground, scowled at the corpses, snorted coldly, and then collected their storage treasures and souls.
"What do you need their souls for?" Qin Yun asked curiously.
"I need their souls to break into their storage treasures! Their storage treasures are soul-bound—only their souls can unlock them!" Ying Chengyu explained. Seeing Qin Yun's eyes light up, he quickly added, "But I can't guarantee success! Out of a hundred attempts, I might only succeed once or twice!"
Qin Yun snorted. "You deliberately led me into the bandits' den just to get that saw back, didn't you?"
Ying Chengyu chuckled. "Of course not! Their appearance was purely coincidental!"
"Don’t try such tricks again!" Qin Yun said coldly. "You're shady as hell—I won’t travel with you anymore!"
"The Profound Domain is just ahead! We’re almost there. Let me show you around!" Ying Chengyu hurriedly blocked Qin Yun's path.
Qin Yun curled his lip. "Old man, why are you so eager to enter the Profound Domain with me? What’s your real motive? Out with it! If your reason doesn’t satisfy me, I’m leaving right now!"
"Fine! As I mentioned before, I have many friends in the Profound Domain, right? Some of them look down on me. I want to take you to meet them, to show them I’ve taken on an impressive disciple!" Ying Chengyu grinned. "It’s purely to regain some face—nothing else!"
"I’ll bite… this time," Qin Yun said.
"Don’t worry, if there are any benefits, I won’t keep them all to myself!" Ying Chengyu assured him.
Qin Yun snorted and continued following Ying Chengyu on their journey.
...
Three days later, Qin Yun followed Ying Chengyu into a lush green area.
After months of flying, he finally saw mountains, forests, and rivers—a sure sign he’d reached the Profound Domain.
"This must be a border region, right? The spiritual energy here is incredibly dense!" Qin Yun thought, awestruck.
"If we go deeper in, it should be even richer!" Ling Yuner said with a smile.
Although Qin Yun didn’t rely on absorbing the Nine Sun aura from the world, the fact that the Mystic Realm was covered in such dense Nine Sun aura meant there were abundant resources here.
Ying Chengyu flew with Qin Yun for half a day before arriving at a city filled with many buildings.
The city lacked walls or protective barriers—clearly not an official settlement.
Yet it teemed with people and had a lively, prosperous air.
Ying Chengyu led Qin Yun into the city, landed on the ground, and quickly walked toward an imposing building ahead.
When Qin Yun saw the building, he was inwardly shocked—it was the Runes Pavilion.
Even in the Mystic Realm, there was a Runes Pavilion, and the ones here were said to be powerful, operating as independent powers!
Qin Yun was currently wearing simple, unremarkable robes. Though handsome, compared to Ying Chengyu, who wore luxurious attire, he seemed downright shabby.
Ying Chengyu had changed into a new outfit before entering.
Trailing Ying Chengyu, Qin Yun gawked at everything, observing the people and various things in the Mystic Realm.
"Folks here in the Mystic Realm aren’t so different from the Mortal Realm’s!" Qin Yun mused as he walked and observed.
Within the Mystic Realm, there were many thriving cities—the real power centers.
Additionally, the regions near sects and major families were also thriving and powerful.
Ying Chengyu took Qin Yun into the Runes Pavilion, headed up to the second level, and entered a hall where they sat on chairs.
Soon after, five elders entered.
Upon seeing them, Ying Chengyu quickly stood up and made small talk.
Among the five elders, there were five Half-Immortals, while the rest were Emperor Wu.
All of them were Ying Chengyu’s old acquaintances.
The elders glanced at Qin Yun, and one of them asked, "Brother Yu, this brat your latest disciple?"
Ying Chengyu looked at Qin Yun and chuckled, "Nah! Just a runt I picked up as a servant!"
Qin Yun bristled at this—they had previously agreed he would pretend to be Ying Chengyu’s disciple.
The elders all stared at Qin Yun in surprise.
"Brother Yu, this brat’s got talent! He looks so young yet is already at the peak Martial Lord of the Black Tortoise Realm? And he’s willing to be your servant?"
"Exactly! With skills like his, he could waltz into any top sect or noble house! How did you manage to get him as a servant? You pull some shady stunt?"
"Brother Yu, why not hand this servant over to me?"
The elders exclaimed in astonishment, then began making offers, bidding for Qin Yun like he was goods.
Ying Chengyu laughed. "Not for any price, boys—he’s staying with me! What you *don’t* know? The kid’s a damn Runes Master!"
"What… how is that possible?" a hunched elder blurted out in shock. "He’s so young, already a peak Martial Lord, and a Runes Master? Where’d he find time to master runes?"
The others gaped, equally skeptical.
Ying Chengyu chuckled, "Take it or leave it! He's just that badass!"
The hunched elder walked up to Qin Yun and asked in a low voice, "Kid, you’re really a Runes Master?"
Qin Yun nodded and summoned his Blood Soul Power.
Those old-timers were Runes Masters too. When they felt the intensity of his Blood Soul Power, they immediately knew his approximate level; it was definitely Runes Master-tier.
Qin Yun was already a Mystic Rune Master, and he was even a Peak Martial King, but none of them had a clue!
"With such talent, why’d you shack up with this guy as his servant?" the hunched elder pressed.
Ying Chengyu quickly interjected, "You’ve got it all wrong! It’s because he admires me so much that he begged to be my lackey... I originally wanted to take him as my disciple, but he said he wasn’t fit and insisted on serving me instead!"
"He knelt for days, begging me to take him in! Seeing his persistence, I reluctantly agreed to let him follow me."
Qin Yun, seething at Ying Chengyu’s bullsh—, knew he was just showing off.
*This old fart’s begging for a lightning bolt,* Qin Yun cursed inwardly.
Ying Chengyu’s old friends, skeptical, shot Qin Yun a look for confirmation.
Qin Yun played along with a nod.
He had already decided to humor Ying Chengyu this once before leaving.
The elders stared at Ying Chengyu in disbelief before kissing his ass.
Ying Chengyu laughed heartily, his ego stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey.
"Brother Yu, it’s almost nightfall. There’s a shindig tonight—big shots like Emperor Wu and Martial Kings. Will you attend?" the hunched elder asked.
"Of course, of course!" Ying Chengyu grinned. "Can I bring my boy here?"
The hunched elder chuckled, "Usually? Hell no. But since this young man is a Runes Master, he’s certainly welcome!"
Ying Chengyu said, "Keep it a secret! Don’t reveal he’s a Runes Master—I like flying under the radar."
Qin Yun rolled his eyes internally, already dreading Ying Chengyu’s humblebrags at the event.
"We’ll keep it quiet—no one will know he’s a Runes Master!" the hunched elder assured. "Come, let’s take a stroll!"
Qin Yun followed Ying Chengyu out of the hall and down to the first floor.
"Isn’t this Brother Yu?" A chubby old man, leading a group, entered and laughed upon seeing Ying Chengyu.
"Old Fatty Tian, long time no see! Here for the banquet, aren’t you?" Ying Chengyu slapped on a grin like bad wallpaper.
Behind Old Fatty Tian stood a young man and woman, both oozing rich-kid entitlement.
"This is my grandson, Tian Dajiang, and my granddaughter, Tian Siyu!" Old Fatty Tian introduced, then barked at them, "Hurry and greet Brother Yu!"
"Greetings, Senior!" Tian Dajiang and Tian Siyu grudgingly mumbled.
Old Fatty Tian glanced at Qin Yun. "That young man looks sharp—your disciple? Siyu, Dajiang, go greet him!"
Having already noticed Qin Yun’s shabby appearance, Tian Dajiang and Tian Siyu approached with visible reluctance.
The hunchbacked old man cut in, "He's just a little servant!"
"What? You want us to greet a servant?" Tian Siyu snapped, glaring fiercely at Qin Yun. "What are you staring at? Keep staring and I'll pluck your eyes out!"
Tian Dajiang snorted coldly, "Grandpa, we don’t need to greet that guy, do we?"
"No need!" Old Tian frowned slightly but said nothing more, then headed upstairs.
At that moment, a handsome middle-aged man Qin Yun knew well suddenly walked in, accompanied by a petite and beautiful woman in red.
The woman had twin ponytails, looking adorable yet carrying an air of aloofness.
The middle-aged man was Hong Ying, who had now become Emperor Wu! The petite, charming yet cold woman was Hong Mengshu!
Qin Yun never expected to encounter acquaintances here!
Hong Mengshu seemed sullen, her face icy, but the moment she entered, she spotted Qin Yun. She couldn’t believe her eyes, her eyes widening in disbelief!
