Chapter 0613: Trespassing the Forbidden Zone
byChapter 0613 Breaking Into the Forbidden Zone
The white-masked woman was furious, especially after being taken out under such circumstances. The mere thought of it filled her with shame and rage.
Qin Yun took out the white-masked woman again, scoring 5,000 points. He was nearly at 10,000 points and still ranked first.
Standing by the Immortal Pool, he tried drawing in some immortal energy but realized it barely did anything.
“Strange, this Immortal Pool seems useless to me!” Qin Yun frowned.
“Your cultivation isn’t high enough—it barely does anything for you. However, it can give your flames a serious boost,” Ling Yuner said. “We’ll have to ask Xie Qirou how to properly utilize this immortal energy.”
Almost immediately after the white-masked woman was killed, she reappeared in the same spot.
“Qin Yun, you’re dead!”
The moment she appeared, she let loose terrifying power. Just a flick of her wrist conjured an icy sword that pierced through Qin Yun’s skull.
Qin Yun was kicked out of the Immortal Soldier Illusory Realm and lost 100 points!
He woke up pissed on his bed, scowling. “She got stronger—did she use her full power?”
“Most likely! She probably sealed her true strength as a test for disciples, limiting herself to the mid-stage of the Spirit Martial Realm,” Ling Yuner explained. “Her rage made her lift the seal and wipe you out instantly with her half-immortal power.”
“No fair!” Qin Yun grumbled.
“You were the one who saw her naked. The fact that she didn’t kill you in reality shows remarkable restraint!”
Ling Yuner laughed teasingly. “What’s even more infuriating is how you just killed her without a second thought—zero respect!”
“I need to talk to her again. I have to use that Immortal Pool!” Qin Yun plopped back down.
After a moment, he bolted upright.
“I can’t enter the Immortal Soldier Illusory Realm anymore!” he exclaimed in shock. “What’s going on? Did I get banned?”
“Seems like it,” Ling Yuner sighed. “We underestimated the white-masked woman’s authority. Who knew she had admin rights?”
“Was I too much?” Qin Yun covered his face and lay back down, muttering, “If she can’t take the heat, she shouldn’t play! She cheated multiple times before, and I never said anything. Now she bans me?”
As he complained, the door to his room was slammed open.
Granny Ma herself!
“Qin Yun, you’re in deep trouble!” Granny Ma said coldly.
“It is what it is,” Qin Yun stood up quickly. “Did the clan factions, the Medicine Immortal Valley, and the Canghuo Immortal Mountain send people? Are they strong-arming the sect leader to expel me from Immortal Soldier City?”
“Not that… Given your situation, why would you trespass into the forbidden area?”
Granny Ma snorted. “The sect leader has ordered your arrest. You’ll be imprisoned in the dungeon for a hundred years and permanently banned from the Immortal Soldier Illusory Realm!”
Qin Yun’s jaw dropped. “Granny Ma, is the sect leader a man or a woman?”
“A man. Why? Do you want to see him?” Granny Ma said icily. “Come with me to the dungeon!”
Qin Yun had suspected the white-masked woman was the sect leader, but apparently not.
But she must be very powerful, otherwise she wouldn’t have been able to imprison him so easily.
"Granny Ma, can I leave Immortal Armory City?" Qin Yun didn't want to be locked up for a hundred years.
He also knew he wouldn’t be staying in Immortal Armory City for long—those clan factions were joining forces to drive him out.
"You can, but you’ll have to do your hundred-year stretch before leaving," Granny Ma said angrily. "Qin Yun, why can’t you just toe the line? Why did you enter the restricted area?"
"I didn’t even know it was a restricted area!" Qin Yun snapped.
"Don’t play dumb! In the Immortal Armory Phantom Realm, if you close your eyes, you can see the realm’s layout—the red areas clearly mark the restricted zones!" Granny Ma scolded. "Entering means a hundred-year imprisonment!"
Qin Yun thought carefully and realized he had indeed seen the words "restricted zone."
But he had assumed he could do whatever he wanted in the Immortal Armory Phantom Realm, so he hadn’t paid attention.
Besides, at the time, he was about to lay hands on the Immortal Essence, so he hadn’t cared about the consequences.
"Granny Ma, cut me some slack!" Qin Yun pleaded.
"If I let you off, who’ll let me off? Just serve your sentence obediently!" Granny Ma said coldly.
"I heard the clan factions are joining forces with Herbal Immortal Vale and Canghuo Immortal Peak to boot me from Immortal Armory City, right? If they succeed, won’t I be spared from prison?" Qin Yun quickly asked.
"If the Sect Master agrees, then yes, you won’t have to serve your sentence—you’ll just be booted from Immortal Armory Palace!" Granny Ma nodded.
"Granny Ma, keep me being locked up quiet, will you?" Qin Yun grinned. "I can give you something in return—how about I give the Golden Ape Totem to Jingmeng?"
"Really?"
Granny Ma immediately saw this as a sweet deal—all she had to do was keep Qin Yun’s situation hidden.
If the clan factions knew Qin Yun was imprisoned for a hundred years, they’d likely stop strong-arming the Sect Master for now.
But if they didn’t know, they’d continue with their plans.
By the time the clan factions, Herbal Immortal Vale, and Canghuo Immortal Peak were ready, even if they found out Qin Yun was imprisoned, they’d be in too deep to quit—they’d still demand the Sect Master expel him.
That way, Qin Yun, who was originally sentenced to a century in prison, would be released instead.
Qin Yun was banking on the clan factions to help him escape the dungeon.
"Give me the Golden Ape Totem first!" Granny Ma knew how cunning Qin Yun could be.
"Here!" Qin Yun took out a beast pelt. "Granny Ma, keep this under wraps—it’s very valuable!"
Granny Ma scrutinized the pelt and said, "Don’t worry, I keep my word—unlike you, who’s underhanded!"
"Me, underhanded? The leader of the BlackClad Corps is the real underhanded one!" Qin Yun snapped.
"Enough of that—move it!" Granny Ma gave an icy grin. "You’d better hope the clan factions succeed in strong-arming the Sect Master to release you, or you’ll die in that cell!"
...
Qin Yun was secretly taken to the Dharma Protector Hall’s dungeon, and Granny Ma warned the guards not to leak any information about his imprisonment.
Anyone who did would face harsh penalties.
Qin Yun was once again back in that cell. Across from his cell were those clan disciples who were to be imprisoned for three years.
"Isn't that Qin Yun? How are you back again!" A disciple from the Long family leaped up in excitement upon seeing Qin Yun.
"It really is Qin Yun! Hahaha... Qin Yun, you rascal, welcome back!"
"Aha, I knew this scoundrel would end up back here, hahaha!"
"Qin Yun, you jerk, what did you do this time?"
"Serves you right! Let’s see how you keep acting so carefree now!"
The clan disciples from before were as delighted as if it was a festival when they saw Qin Yun enter.
"I’ve broken through to the Spirit Martial Realm!" Qin Yun sighed. "But because of accidental manslaughter, I’m locked up for two years."
The previously cheerful clan disciples went stiff, their smiles wiped away instantly upon hearing Qin Yun had reached the Spirit Martial Realm.
"You’re lying! There’s no way you’ve reached the Spirit Martial Realm in such a short time—stop spouting nonsense!" the Long family youth shouted in disbelief.
Qin Yun curled his lips and promptly released a surge of Bone Spirit power.
Upon sensing Qin Yun’s Bone Spirit power, the clan disciples turned red-eyed with jealousy, their hearts twisting in discomfort as if blocked by something.
"You killed someone, yet you’re only locked up for two years?" the Long family youth pressed.
"Because I’m a Core Disciple. I accidentally killed an outer disciple—one from your Long family, no less!" Qin Yun grinned.
"You rascal!" the Long family youth roared.
Qin Yun was spinning tales—he certainly wouldn’t admit he was imprisoned for a century, or these clan disciples would go wild with joy.
"Shut up, all of you! Otherwise, if I get the chance, I’ll pummel you senseless—just like last time!" Qin Yun said with a wicked grin.
Last time, Granny Ma had needed a favor from Qin Yun, so she allowed him to thrash these clan disciples.
The clan disciples here would never forget the brutal beating Qin Yun had given them, even in death.
Now, they didn’t dare say another word, only choking back their anger as they watched.
Qin Yun took the opportunity to devote himself to mastering the Heaven-Piercing Finger.
---
Those Celestial Armory City folks—this prison has barriers that suppress divine powers, yet such a crucial place like the Celestial Armory Illusory Realm doesn’t have any!
Ling Yuner snorted. "And that damn sect leader—if not for you stepping in, Celestial Armory City’s Celestial Artifact would’ve been forfeited long ago!"
"Exactly! If there’s a next time, if they beg for my help, I’ll make them pay through the nose!"
Qin Yun sighed inwardly. "There won’t be a next time. A stroke of luck like this only comes once. What a shame—if I’d known, I’d have milked Celestial Armory City for all it's worth!"
"It’s all my fault!" Ling Yuner lamented. "If I’d been sharper, I should’ve made you drive a hard bargain and take them for all they're worth!"
"That's how it goes. At least I avoided three years in prison and got the Flamefury Rune Soul out of it." Qin Yun grinned. "Don’t worry, Yun’er, I’ll get through this. It’s all up to whether those clan factions can come through!"
Ling Yuner giggled. "If those clan faction idiots succeed in pressuring the sect leader to kick you out, they’ll have done you a favor, hahaha..."
"So they’d better come through!" Qin Yun laughed. Qin Yun had taken top spot on the Martial Arts Ranking, yet he was to be expelled from Celestial Armory City, unable to compete in the Martial Arts Championship.
This also left him with many regrets, and he could only think of other ways to see if he could participate in that Martial Arts Grand Prix.
...
Just three days after Qin Yun entered the dungeon, a large crowd arrived outside the gates of the Celestial Armory Palace.
Elite warriors from multiple branches of the Long Family, Tian Family, and Yang Family of Ao Xingzhou were sent here.
Since branches of these three major families had dispatched people, of course the patriarchs of the largest families in Ao Xingzhou showed up as well.
In addition, there were several elders and a whole contingent of disciples from the Medicine Immortal Valley and the Canghuo Immortal Mountain.
